Description:
Validates a manually entered Vat-Id OR automatically extracted Vat-Id from a picture/photo using the official EU validation service!
No restrictions, no registration, no advertising!

Usage:
Enter a Vat-Id manually into the given textbox or take a photo/screenshot (e.g. from an invoice) and use this picture for validation – this app recognizes the Vat-Id automatically.
The validation is executed using the official EU validation services.
It’s just that easy – this way for example you guarantee a law confirm validation of Vat-Ids considering incoming invoices.
Furthermore you are able to send the generated XML-validation report via E-Mail (e.g. to your own E-Mail address) for archiving.

Technical Details/Prerequisites:
- The following EU servers and hosted SOAP-Interface has to be reachable via Internet: http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/services/checkVatService
- If automatic recognition from a picture is used, the image has to be delivered in an appropriate quality (at a min. 300dpi) and illumination.
- Following Vat-Id formats, according to the official European Union guidelines, are supported by this app: http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/faqvies.do#item11, see chapter Q11.
